<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>Responsible for providing job placement and job retention services for Job Corps graduates and appropriate level of services to former enrollees.</p>
<p>Responsibilities include performing the following duties:</p>
<p>• Makes persuasive public presentations;</p>
<p>• Develops professional relationships and maintains rapport with all regional contractors, support agencies, and contract customers;</p>
<p>• Tracks, organizes, inputs, and manages large volumes of data;</p>
<p>• Maintains an ongoing resource development effort</p>
<p>• Submits required reports on a weekly and monthly basis;</p>
<p>• Arranges for student Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) and civil service testing;</p>
<p>• Assesses student job-seeking skills</p>
<p>• Provides training and support in resume preparation, interviewing, and job search techniques;</p>
<p>• Demonstrates knowledge of Job Corps, the Policy and Requirements Handbook, regional and corporate policies, and procedures; and</p>
<p>• Responsible for providing job placement services to Boxelder Job Corps former enrollees (trainees).</p>
<p><strong>Characteristics</strong></p>
<p>Experience performing networking and job development tasks. Experience in career management approaches. Experience in needs assessments, career planning, career development and other developmental needs of youth. Experience working with diverse youth from disadvantaged backgrounds; skilled in working with social service agencies in local community, counseling, or sales; able to plan and carry out approved procedures, considerable public contact. Knowledge about Job Corps program offerings.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications and Standards</strong></p>
<p>Bachelor’s degree and/or four years related experience working with youth, or combination of education and related experience equaling four years. One-year experience in sales, marketing or counseling-related services. Other requirements include word processing experience, and strong communication and organizational skills</p>
<p>This position requires local travel throughout the South Dakota West River region.</p>
<p>Candidates must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s license.</p>

<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p>Plans and implements the outreach and admissions program to ensure that the team reaches its performance goals and that quality students are successfully recruited for the Job Corps program.</p>
<p><strong>Duties include:</strong></p>
<p>• Maintains and documents Area Marketing Plan (AMP);</p>
<p>• Plans and implements outreach activities to ensure a sufficient number of referrals;</p>
<p>• Conducts in-depth interviews with applicants;</p>
<p>• Collects and records accurate data and signatures on forms as required;</p>
<p>• Establishes appropriate contacts with community agencies and businesses for connections with youth eligible for Job Corps;</p>
<p>• Reviews and assesses all application materials and makes personal observations for informed judgment as to applicants’ eligibility for the program;</p>
<p>• Approves or rejects all applications to Job Corps with the exception of applications for readmissions, or of those needing medical, behavioral, or mental health review</p>
<p>• Establishes rapport with applicants and provides them with ongoing support through the application process, pre-departure, and during center stay;</p>
<p>• Meets applicable contract performance data;</p>
<p>• Provides applicants with accurate information about Job Corps, including program requirements and rules of conduct to be followed by students;</p>
<p>• Introduces applicant to Labor Market Information about availability of jobs in applicant’s preferred vocation in his/her hometown area;</p>
<p>• Is well-informed about each Job Corps center for which the Admissions Counselor recruits and maintains connection with each centers’ website;</p>
<p>• Obtains, when directed by Job Corps Regional Office, additional health information needed to make a final eligibility determination;</p>
<p>• Updates student information such as addresses and contact information to ensure that it is accurate and current;</p>
<p>• Establishes and maintains positive partnerships with center staff to ensure that center receive committed and informed applicants and that students receive quality services;</p>
<p>• Maintains and updates records according to federal requirements;</p>
<p>• Records all applications in OASIS and forwards to the appropriate center;</p>
<p>• Ensures that Policy and Requirements Handbook rules for assignment, ticket accountability, departure, and ‘no-shows,’ are adhered to;</p>
<p>• Maintains clear documentation on file that denied applicants are informed, counseled, and referred to other resources when appropriate;  and performs other duties as assigned.</p>

<p>Skilled in social work, counseling, or sales; able to plan and carry out approved procedures; considerable public contact, may supervise associate and assistant level support staff.</p>

<p>Enterprise Security Analyst II</p>
<p>Job Description:</p>
<p>The Enterprise Security Analyst will provide information assurance and cyber security support. Works with the IT work centers to develop risk response recommendations for the government client organization including avoidance, transference, acceptance or mitigation of security risks and vulnerabilities.</p>
<p>POSITION SUMMARY:</p>
<p>The Security Analyst provides direct support for organizing, planning, implementing and maintaining the Cyber security program of USAF. Works with work centers to ascertain their risk response decision. Responsibilities will include support to vulnerability management, scanning and remediation, patch management, and threat and vulnerability assessment. The candidate will have experience in reviewing information security activities including policies and procedures and presenting findings in verbal and written reports. Experience in one or more of the following: LAN/WAN networking, systems administration of Windows-based platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS design and implementation, computer forensic techniques, databases, web and mail servers, and general systems design and operation is highly desired. The candidate will review and coordinate the implementation of DoD policies and procedures concerning Information Assurance. They will be actively involved in staying abreast of and informing the agency of the current government directives, instructions, guidance or policies regarding or impacting Information Assurance. <p>The Systems Engineer reports to a Supervisor and/or Technical Manager and provides mid- level support for a 24&#215;7 LAN and associated applications, peripherals and connectivity in a Tier II service desk environment on a nationwide contract. This position relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job while working independently or under immediate supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.</p>
<p><strong>Travel Requirement:</strong> <strong>This position may require up to 30% travel. </strong><strong></strong></p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><strong></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support a 24&#215;7 LAN and associated applications.</li>
<li>Provide direct technical support to end-users for all IT related issues both hardware and software</li>
<li>Troubleshoot/upgrade existing operational environment consisting of workstations running Windows XP, and Windows 2000 associated file and print servers running Windows 200/2003, Active Directory, Exchange and Enterprise Messaging software</li>
<li>Support of peripheral devices include PDA’s, Blackberry hand held devices and printers</li>
<li>Utilizes Veritas Backup Exec and Computer Associates ArcServe Disaster Recovery software</li>
<li>Work with Network Operations Center to troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN issues</li>
<li>Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve minor LAN related issues</li>
<li>Document all work performed and possess ability to write clear and effective status reports</li>
<li>In a subordinate role, provide technical support for large projects, operations and special events</li>
<li>Work as a member of a large team and use established standard operating procedures in the conduct of daily duties</li>
<li>Coordinate with senior technical personnel to ensure problem resolution and user satisfaction</li>
<li>Install or monitor enterprise installations of new software releases and system upgrades</li>
<li>May evaluate and install patches, and resolve software related problems</li>
<li>Maintain data files and monitor system configuration to ensure data integrity</li>
<li>Responsible for all LAN and Desktop related hardware and may be required to conduct physical inventories</li>
<li>Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Knowledge and skills: </strong><strong></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Intermediate knowledge of backup software and hardware</li>
<li>Intermediate knowledge of the latest Network Operating Systems and hardware</li>
<li>Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange and Enterprise Messaging Software</li>
<li>Familiarity with WAN Devices, circuits, cabling and telephonic and/or communication technology</li>
<li>Working knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Support/LAN environment</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative technical solutions</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Education and work experience:</strong><strong></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree preferred</li>
<li>5 years of related technical experience preferred</li>
<li>MCSE preferred</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>· ITIL certification preferred</strong></p>
