PRIMARY FUNCTION

 Day to day administration of Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) system in support of various development teams.

ü      Creates new projects as required. Builds and compiles code of varying complexity. Work with developers to produce automated tests and automated builds.

ü      Initiates new users in the system, assigns user roles and manage permission.

ü      Ensures system integrity to enforce development policy and procedure.

ü      Manages source code repositories, TFS Sharepoint sites and reporting capabilities.

ü      Maintains data for Management metrics and produces reports for executive review and dashboards.

ü      Monitors system health, performance, license levels and ensures that that backup schedules are maintained.

ü      Delivering build results to appropriate staging areas for deployment in test and production environments.

ü      Indentify and implement appropriate CM practice to support development methodology.

ü      SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL

ü      3+ years in TFS Administration (TFS 2010 or TFS 2008).

ü      Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum with TFS Agile templates is preferred

ü      Solid experience of Microsoft SQL Server including installation, configuration, security, high availability, backup/recovery, performance tuning, and problem diagnosis.

ü      Have a solid understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services

ü      Have a solid understanding of TFS SharePoint site administration

ü      Have a basic understanding of Microsoft Active Directory (AD) to manage user accounts and provide integrated security.

ü      Understanding of Microsoft Visual Studio (2010 or 2008) and Test Professional

ü      Exposure to automated build tools such as MS Build or Team Build

ü      Strong sense of customer service

MUST BE A US Citizen and have the ability to pass a background check.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

May occasionally be required to life up to 20lbs. The position will be operating in a secure government facility.

Base salary range up to $120,000.00, depending on experience.
