Sr. Metrics – Herndon, VA 

Candidates MUST have a Telecommunications/Cable work history. We are looking to employ an employee or a contractor of someone who has a solid metrics analyst work history and someone who possesses a strong data skills analysis background. For the first six months of this project you will be standing up Data and doing Data cleansing and 20% of your time will be analysis of the data. After that 80% of your time will be spent doing analysis and 20% standup. 

This person will should have a strong SQL background and business analysis skills as well. This person must also have an order management background as you will be dealing with 14 Million subscriber’s data. We are looking for performance metrics, strong compliance and business process experience as well. Candidates will support their informatics in multiple regions. Candidate will be looking at KPI’s in detail and must have a solid number crunching history. Strong Excel skills are needed. Must be able to understand the numbers behind the KPI’s and provide critical information to executives. After scrubbing the data you will communicate data anomalies and performance contrary to goal objectives with senior staff and management. The Metrics Analyst is also responsible for working with senior staff members to determine the appropriate measures and associated metrics to support the Business Process Reengineering efforts. Strong auditing and analysis skills will be needed in order to identify and track trends in metrics and be able to work with business process reengineering (BPR) to identify process improvements.  

This person will be involved in metrics needs assessments, along with the planning, collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of both quality and productivity metrics.  Designs and presents to senior staff metrics plans, estimate reports, and metrics reports design. This person will be responsible for working with other staff members to analyze the accuracy of performance statistics and data. 

Exceptional communication skills and a strong determination to overcome obstacles are required. Exposure to relational database structures and SQL are a plus.  

Education:  Requires a Bachelors degree.
