The Director of Business Sales (DBS) will take ownership of the entire sales cycle for Business to Consumer (B2C) sales for UPEDS. The DBS will manage a team of sales associates who will be responsible to drive sales opportunities and achieve revenue objectives. This position requires an individual who can engage at the highest levels of an organization both externally and internally, as well work “in the trenches”. Our ideal candidate is an inspiring team player, has outstanding communication skills, superior follow through skills, can build consensus among disparate groups, and understands UPEDS methodologies, offerings, and workflows. This position requires an experienced perspective that can creatively find opportunities to add value to the industry, effectively navigate B2C sales through negotiations to close as well as advise VP of Sales through regular sales status updates.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with inside/outside sales with proven records of year-over-year revenue increases with B2C or B2B sales
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of target organizations; including executive and C-level
- Develop an account management plan to sell to target companies based on their business need
- Schedule, attend and present sales call appointments for potential customers
