Quality Safety Manager – McLean, VA

Human Resource Requirements
•Create and maintain active and terminated personnel file
•Conduct onsite new hire orientation with team leads and exit interviews with security
•Audit, track and process incoming new employee paperwork
•Process high-level confidential requests for employee information
•Review and participate in manager and employee Corrective Action Reviews (CARs)
•Facilitate Annual Performance Reviews
•Assist in the creation and maintenance of HR forms and communications
•Perform administrative duties related to employee programs (e.g. service awards, etc.)
•Work on special projects and perform other job-related duties as needed
Safety/Environmental Requirements
•Develop, implement and maintain a safe and healthy workplace in compliance with all required Federal, state and local Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) regulations. Establish and maintain an Occupational Safety and Health Program
•Maintain an Annual Safety Report
•Maintain a Hazardous Material Inventory
•Maintain an Environmental Safety and Health Plan
•Maintain Recycling and Affirmative Procurement Report
Training Requirement
•Determine the training needs of all functional areas and oversee the development of courses to meet those needs
•Work closely with onsite procurement and external vendors to set up contractual and sustainable training arrangements
•Conduct training courses on an as needed basis
•Manage onsite training records for the DIESEL contract, maintaining compliance with both government and corporate requirements
Quality Control Requirements
•Develop and maintain a Quality Control Program to ensure Government/Contractor standards, procedures, practices and continuous improvement actions are implemented to successfully perform contract requirements and achieve high quality customer satisfaction across all DIESEL service areas
•The Quality Control Program should be based on industry standards and best practices tailored appropriately to the specific requirements of the DIESEL contract.
•Develop, publish, implement and maintain a Quality Control Plan (QCP)
•Develop and maintain key process documentation, to include but not limited to: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), schematics, flow diagrams and other process-related data items
•Develop and maintain a Quality Control Inspection File
•Develop and implement a process for ensuring all contract data deliverables (DLs) are accurately prepared and submitted on schedule

Educational Requirement
Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field desired

•Security Clearance; Agency experience preferred
•1 to 3 years of Human Resource related experience
•1 to 3 years of Safety involvement in a professional setting (e.g. Safety Manager,
Safety Steering Committee, etc.)
•Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information handled
•Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access,
Lotus Notes, etc.)
•Motivated self-starter and team player with strong administrative, communication and
customer service skills

Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active TS/SCI w/FS Poly security clearance
