Position Title: Network Administrator, Associate
Reports to: Director of Engineering
Position Overview: The Basic Qualifications for this position: Provides remote maintenance, troubleshooting and repair for a Wide Area Network (WAN) to include, routers, switches, Video Teleconferencing units, and VoIP systems from a Help Desk. Will perform tests with multiple tech controls and implement scheduled upgrades to the network to include router configurations. Must be willing to be crossed trained on the Client and Server systems and perform remote maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to capture customer calls in a Trouble Ticket system (Remedy). Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/CI poly required.
Qualifications: Experience in the following areas required: CISCO routers and switches, CSU/DSU’s, and Modems; Knowledge of Sun Server, RAID, UPS, Tape Drives, and Macintosh clients is a plus; knowledge of TCP/IP SNMP, and Remedy a plus.
Education: Candidate must have a high school diploma with a minimum of 2 years of experience performing network troubleshooting; candidate must be willing to support a work schedule which is either1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift to include weekends.
