management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation

Overview: The Enterprise Cyber Security
Engineer will provide Information Assurance and cyber security leadership and
direction. Works with the IT work centers to develop risk response
recommendations for the government client organization including avoidance,
transference, acceptance or mitigation of security risks and
vulnerabilities.

 

Provide
risk management support and conduct a federally-required risk assessment
process, conduct C&A Risk Analysis, ST&E, Penetration testing,
vulnerability assessments, and C&A management for AFSPC enterprise and
supported networks, assist in understanding and completing accreditation and
Ports, Protocols and Services (PPS) packages. Semiannually verify that only
accredited systems and applications (classified and unclassified) are connected
to or use the base network Develop, maintain, and distribute customer-friendly
templates and step-by-step guides to assist customers with IA requests for
Computer Security (COMPUSEC), Emission Security (EMSEC), Telecommunications
Monitoring and Assessment Program (TMAP), Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS),
and DITSCAP.

Mandatory
experience with:

  • Knowledge of DITSCAP , and
    experience authoring SSAA documentation
  • Advanced knowledge of
    TCP/IP operation and function
  • Advanced knowledge of
    computer operating system function
  • Knowledge of Department of
    Defense information assurance principles and requirements
  • Skill with programming and
    scripting in multiple computer languages
  • Skill with technical
    writing
  • Ability to establish
    priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  • Ability to handle and
    resolve recurring problems

Other Desired
experience:

  • Developing and maintain a
    IT systems security plan
  • Performing security
    vulnerability evaluation and functional evaluation of new security
    products
  • Providing security
    consultation/review in the integration of hardware, software, and databases into
    the network baseline architecture and their affects to the security
    baseline.
  • Development and
    documentation security policy for C2 mission systems in accordance with
    applicable directives.
  • Performs other related
    duties as required.

 

Excellent
communication and presentation skills required.

Must
be proficient with the Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Outlook).

 

MANDATORY
QUALIFICATIONS:

Active
Secret security clearance (or ability to be granted an interim Secret
clearance)

Possess
one of the following certifications: CISSP, SCNA, GISO, GSLC, or
CISM

Security

B.S.
in Computer Science or related field
