UI/UX Developer

Job Description:

Contribute to the development of commercial software products used for advanced knowledge and information management.  Define visual design and user interaction, create product UI mock-ups, and collaborate on product design and development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineering teams on design & development integration

Identify user requirements and translate it into design solutions

Create UX deliverables (wireframes, workflows, prototypes, etc.)

Develop and deliver front end-design assets (graphics, XAML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript etc.)

Requirements and Qualifications:

Typically requires bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and five to seven years of related experience

Knowledge of usability, human factors, and the UX process

WPF Experience, particularly design elements

Experience with XAML, XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX

Experience with Adobe design tools

Experience/understanding of Microsoft design/development tools (Visual Studio/Expression)

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Must be able to describe problems and solutions in a concise and objective manner
